    • Hey David I really enjoy your latest cd. It's great and I see that you are touring in England I think that is amazing. I wish you the best of luck and hope that you can come back to PA soon and we can have one of our singing get-togethers Robbie and Richelle say "hi". Hope to hear from you soon. Love always, your cousin Katrina

    • David, I saw you at the Jazz Club at the Edinburgh Fringe last Monday. Your words and music touched my heart and my soul. I grew up listening to Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, and Odetta. Your songs brought me back to those days, but more importantly reminded me that we still have a lot of work to do to create the world in which we really want to live. Thank you so much!

    • Hi David,

Seen you a few times live and really impressed with your latest album, thanks for the great links on this site, well done, you are inspiring folks here in Scotland to believe in themselves again

      All the best

    • Hello David

I've just received your latest e-mail and I thought I'd pop by to say hello. I always like to read what you have to say and see what you're up to...and, by the look of things, you seem to be doing really well...long may it continue. I'm still trying to write and enjoying it more and more although sometimes our own material isn't what's called for in this small part of the world, but nevermind.

Hope you're well and all the very best to you. Take care... Mary x

    • Amazing, David,

      Soul-Piercing, Heart-rending mystically, beautiful Songs!

Much Success, to Thee, Oh Troubadour!

      Much Peace & Love,

Terry Brunette Long Island, NY Musician-at-large

    • Pauline and I thoroughly enjoyed your gig at the Topic in Bradford last night.

It was a great night and the surprise appearance of Roy Bailey to pitch in with a couple of songs made it the perfect start to the 2009 programme.

We are looking forward to having you back in the city for 'Raise Your Banners', towards the end of the year.

Perhaps you'll get a curry then!

    • Hi David

Good to meet you on the street after the Joan Baez concert and hear about your singing. I look forward to getting hold of your album. I'm a great fan of songs of political/environmental/social justice types. Looking at your list of influences I think you have great taste and I can see many of my own favourites.

How do you rate another well known Scottish (ex-Scottish) singer - Eric Bogle. I think he has a great mastery with words and tying it into music and conveying thoughtful messages about the human condition/environment etc.

Hope to see you perform some time - if there's a potential St Andrews venue I'll let you know!

In case you need reminding - I'm the one with the Irish accent/grey hair etc to whom you spoke!

      Cheers

    • Hey David, Just got your album. Sounds fantastic. I didn't expect to hear the full band arrangements, but they support the songs well. I read a few articles and it sounds like the industry is impressed as well. Let us know when you have a chance to come back to Canada or maybe we'll see you on your side of the lake. Safe travels, Trevor and ETH

    • Damn, I'm very impressed. Like it.

    • Hello David. I came across your songs by accident after discovering your upcoming gig in Glenfarg. It's a lovely wee club, and I'm sure you'll have a great time.

I'm just sorry I won't be there to meet you. I'll keep an eye out for your next trip to my part of the world.

      Such beautiful songs... K x
