David, I saw you at the Jazz Club at the Edinburgh Fringe last Monday. Your words and music touched my heart and my soul. I grew up listening to Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, and Odetta. Your songs brought me back to those days, but more importantly reminded me that we still have a lot of work to do to create the world in which we really want to live. Thank you so much!

I always like to read what you have to say and see what you're up to...and, by the look of things, you seem to be doing really well...long may it continue. I'm still trying to write and enjoying it more and more although sometimes our own material isn't what's called for in this small part of the world, but nevermind.

Good to meet you on the street after the Joan Baez concert and hear about your singing. I look forward to getting hold of your album. I'm a great fan of songs of political/environmental/social justice types. Looking at your list of influences I think you have great taste and I can see many of my own favourites.

How do you rate another well known Scottish (ex-Scottish) singer - Eric Bogle. I think he has a great mastery with words and tying it into music and conveying thoughtful messages about the human condition/environment etc.

Hope to see you perform some time - if there's a potential St Andrews venue I'll let you know!
